The new TYRANNOSAURUS® 8500 Shredder guarantees reliable output
The primary shredder sets the standard for everything that follows in the production line. When material streams are unpredictable, contaminated, or simply tough, TYRANNOSAURUS® 8500 Shredder is built to run and built to last.
Electrically driven TYRANNOSAURUS® 8500 Shredder delivers consistent particle size and maximised throughput. The Zero Gap® system simultaneously maintains low power consumption, high capacity and stable particle size even as knives start to wear. It also effectively prevents wrapping and allows shredding of the thinnest waste materials, such as plastic films and foils. The Massive Impact Protection System® (MIPS) detects and removes hard unshreddable materials before shredding, protecting the shredder and keeping the line running.
Inconsistent input is the reality of waste processing. The TYRANNOSAURUS® 8500 Shredder is built to run and built to last, no matter what the material feed looks like. The cutting-based design keeps particle size in control while built-in protection system removes pieces that could compromise downstream performance.

What the TYRANNOSAURUS® 8500 SRF Production Line includes?
The production line is configured to meet each customer’s specific needs, with different variations available. Built around the legendary, heavy-duty TYRANNOSAURUS® Shredders, the line can be complemented with equipment from our partners or the customer’s own machinery.
Our standard solution includes:
- TYRANNOSAURUS® 8500 Shredder designed for reliable processing of ICW and pre-sorted MSW
- Discharge conveyor with magnetic separator for metal removal
- Air classifier for separating heavy materials such as stones and glass
- TYRANNOSAURUS® 1200 Fine Shredder for final particle size reduction
- Outfeed conveyor with open belt design for easy access and cost-effective maintenance
The line can also be extended with a step feeder, additional separation systems for materials such as aluminium or PVC, fire prevention systems, and quality measurement systems, making it adaptable to a wide range of operational requirements.

Installation and delivery
TYRANNOSAURUS® 8500 SRF Production Line is delivered with everything needed to get up and running, including the electrical system, motor control centre, frequency converters, and a complete automation system for the full line.
Depending on your preferences and resources, the production line can be delivered as an IBC (Installed by Customer) or as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction). With IBC delivery, your team handles the installation and site-electrification, supported by our instructions and on-site supervision. If a full EPC delivery better suits your needs, we take care of the complete installation, as we have successfully done for complete line projects worldwide.
Either way, you receive a complete, ready-to-operate solution from a single supplier.
