BMH Technology to supply high-capacity waste shredding and sorting lines to cement industry in South Korea
Press release 22.4.2021
BMH Technology Oy will supply three waste shredding lines to SsangYong C&E’s plants in Donghae and YeongWol in South Korea. The lines will produce high-quality Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) to kilns and boilers used in cement production. Using SRF decreases the use of fossil fuels and increases material recovery.

YeongWol is the factory where SSANGYONG C&E first started its cement business.
Each line includes a TYRANNOSAURUS® FineScreen and a TYRANNOSAURUS® Air Classifier for separating impurities. Altogether, the delivery contains five TYRANNOSAURUS® FineShredders with exceptionally high capacity.
Donghae will be one of the world’s largest SRF shredding plants producing alternative fuel for cement industry. With a total of two lines and four shredders, the capacity of Donghae plant is 80 tons per hour producing particle size under 25mm.

SSANGYONG C&E Donghae factory is the world’s largest cement factory with anannual production capacity of 11.5 million tons.
The lines will be handed over to the customer in autumn 2021.
