BMH Technology to supply a biomass fuel handling system to ENGIE in Lleida, Spain

BMH Technology Oy has signed a contract with Engie Servicios Energeticos S.A. for the delivery and installation of a biomass fuel handling system to Roselló, Lleida in Spain. The system will replace an existing natural gas fired co-generation plant with a brand new biomass power plant, located at Alier paper mill in Roselló.
“We welcome ENGIE as a customer and hope this is the first of multiple biomass projects we could work together on in the future”, says Marcos Arizti, Sales Manager of BMH Technology Oy.
The delivery includes design, manufacture, erection and commissioning of an external fuel handling system. The system consists of fuel receiving, fuel quality control and storage equipment with an intermediate 4.700 m3 silo in addition to electrification, automation and a sprinkler system. With this contract BMH strenghtens its leardeship in the Spanish market where the company currently has eight external fuel handling projects succesfully delivered over the last ten years.

The fuel handling system will be delivered and installed during 2023 and the facility will be taken over at the end of 2023.
