BMH Technology to deliver complete fuel handling solution to Mälarenergi
On October 2. Magnus Hemmingsson, Mälarenergi (left) signed an agreement with Peter Wallenius and Thomas Karlsson, BMH Technology for a complete fuel handling system for Mälarenergi’s new boiler unit 7.
According to a statement, delivery and assembly of the fuel handling plant will take place in 2019 and the plant will be commissioned in early 2020. The order value is approximately SEK 120 million (≈ EUR 12.56 million).
We are very proud to once again be entrusted by Mälarenergi to become their partner for another delivery of a complete fuel management facility and help to make Västerås free from coal and oil, said Thomas Karlsson, CEO of BMH Technology AB, the Swedish subsidiary.
BMH’s delivery consists of a receiving pocket for wheel loaders as well as side-tipping and reversing trucks, fuel preparation with magnetic separation of metal contaminants and screening/crushing of oversized materials, a 6 000 m³ fuel storage silo with rotary screw feeder and silo and boiler conveyor system.

All ancillary equipment and systems, as well as complete electrification and automation, are also included in the delivery. The capacities are 700 m³ per hour to the silo and 350 m³ per hour to the boiler.
