TYRANNOSAURUS® 7700 Primary Shredder for waste is a medium speed, single-rotor shredder equipped with a pusher.
It's designed for industrial scale shredding of industrial & commercial waste (ICW | C&I waste) and source-sorted municipal solid waste (MSW).

The 7700 plays a significant role in an RDF/ SRF process line where the particle size always matters. It will be tailored to produce particle size in a range of 40–70 mm with high capacity.

Protection against unshreddable objects
Typically, mixed waste streams contain unshreddable materials, such as rocks, scrap metals, and concrete objects. Once the pre-shredded and segregated waste reaches the secondary shredding stage, these objects should already be removed, yet sometimes individual particles remain.
To prevent damages to the shredder, the TYRANNOSAURUS 7700 series Fine Shredder for waste is armed with Impact Protection™ function.
It is based on the counter-knives that are held in position hydraulically and allow an easy and fast removal of unshreddable materials.
The Impact Protection™ function both reduces the need for process stops and shortens the actual stops.

Zero Gap®
Optimal cutting with adjustable knives
Shredding is a wear-intensive function. Zero Gap® shredding means that the particle size and quality are preserved even with wearing of the knives. This technology, patented by BMH Technology, maintains the cutting gap in zero, ensuring optimal cutting.
Thanks to Zero Gap®, the TYRANNOSAURUS® 7700 shredder can process even the thinnest waste materials, such as plastic films and foils. The shredder’s knives are hydraulically adjusted to keep on working optimally and lengthen the service interval.
The clean-cut equals lower power consumption and longer knife lifetime, while maintaining high capacity. All this contributes to achieving the lowest possible production cost.
