Biomass Fuel Handling solution delivered to Borås, Sweden
Borås Energi & Miljö's new power plant in Sobacken, Sweden replaces old technology and strengthens sustainable energy production of the area. The company is 100% owned by the city of Borås and the Sobacken plant produces district heating and electricity for the nearby area. Borås Energi & Miljö is highly inspired to reduce the use of fossil fuels and to reach to city's environmental targets for sustainable energy production.
BMH Technology's delivery to Borås is a complete external fuel handling system for handling solid biofuels such as forest residues, wood chips, bark and saw dust. The system includes truck receiving, fuel quality control station, storage systems, conveying and all other auxiliary equipment. Electrification and automation are also a part of the delivery.
