Waste to Electricity solution delivered to Lahti, Finland

In 2010 BMH successfully modified the existing biomass and SRF handling system ready for the then upcoming gasification plant project. The new SRF handling system for the gasification plant was a turnkey project including receiving and screening of SRF, metal separation and fully automatic sampling systems, reduction of oversize fractions by means of TYRANNOSAURUS® T1202L Shredders, automatic fuel storage and dosing & feeding to gasifiers.

Kymijärvi Power Plant is now the largest SRF using plant in Finland (250,000 t/a).
