Biomass Fuel Handling solution delivered to Miajadas, Spain

A turn-key project for a wood chip fuel handling system with a day silo and feeding into boiler, including complete design, production and installation. The system contains an initial receiving pit and conveying to screening, where stones, metals and over-sized materials are separated from the fuel flow. After screening, the fuel is stored in an automatic storage silo that buffers the day silo and the boiler feeding. The reclaiming of fuel from the silos takes place with screw reclaimers. The power plant’s total biomass use is 110 000 tpa.
